My name is Ismail. I was born and raised in Agadir, just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful coastline that our horses now explore every day. I grew up around horses, my family has always worked with them, and from a very young age, I understood that there is no better way to experience the natural beauty of Morocco than from the back of a horse.
For over ten years, I have been guiding riders of all ages and all experience levels, from nervous first-timers who have never touched a horse before, to experienced equestrians looking for a unique challenge on Morocco’s dramatic Atlantic coast. Every rider receives the same patience, care, and personal attention. Every ride is different. And every ride ends with photographs and videos that I send to your phone for free, because I want you to leave Morocco with memories that last a lifetime.
Bakadir Horse Riding is not a tour company. It is a personal invitation to experience my home, the beaches, the mountains, the Berber countryside, and the magic of the Moroccan Atlantic coast, in the most authentic way possible.
The horses come first at Bakadir. Every horse in our stable is carefully selected for its calm temperament, regularly checked by a veterinarian, well fed, and given proper rest between rides. We never overwork our horses — their wellbeing is non-negotiable.
Our horses are matched to each rider based on their experience and confidence level. A nervous first-timer receives a gentle, slow-walking horse. An experienced rider who wants to gallop along the beach gets a horse that loves to run. We take the time to introduce you to your horse before the ride so you feel comfortable and confident from the very first step.
